About Meagan

Armed with a master’s degree in counseling psychology from Meridian University, Meagan has spent over 13 years immersed in the world of Special Education. As a therapist and social coach, she has worked tirelessly in both public and non-public specialized school settings, providing invaluable support to children facing a range of challenges. Driven by a shared vision of supporting children in navigating the complexities of rejection, Meagan co-authored the book “When I Feel Rejected: Building Resilience with Steps and Strategies” alongside Dr. Beth Curtin. This collaboration stemmed from a recognition of the lack of resources available to elementary-aged children dealing with rejection. Together, Meagan and Dr. Curtin sought to fill this gap by providing practical tools and strategies to empower children to manage their emotions and relationships effectively. Beyond her professional endeavors, Meagan finds joy in the simple pleasures of life. Whether it’s dancing, creating art, practicing yoga, or spending quality time with her beloved dog, Teddy Bear, and cherished friends and family—especially her niece and nephew—Meagan embraces every moment with zest and gratitude. An avid traveler at heart, Meagan dreams of exploring the world and experiencing its diverse cultures firsthand. But amidst her adventures, one thing remains constant: her unwavering belief in equity and universal access to emotional support. For Meagan, her life’s work is more than just a career—it’s a calling. She is deeply committed to nurturing the next generation of change-makers, instilling resilience, thoughtfulness, and compassion in every child she encounters. With a vision of a world where every child has the opportunity to thrive and make a positive impact, Meagan is dedicated to creating a brighter future, one resilient and empowered child at a time.
